Designed for multi-purpose use. The SMWE10 is ideal for attics, workshops, welding rooms, factories, warehouses, barns, and greenhouses. Its automatic louvered shutter system helps prevent backdrafts when the unit is not in operation, protecting interior spaces from outdoor elements while maintaining efficient airflow during use.

Safety Features
- Secure Mounting – Must be securely mounted in a rigid framework to minimize vibration and help prevent premature shutter failure.
- Electrical Safety – Fan frame and motor must be properly grounded, and electrical connections must comply with applicable codes.
- Indoor Use – Designed for indoor use only.
- Maintenance Safety – Disconnect, lock out, and tag out the power source before installation or servicing. Do not rely on a switch as the sole means of disconnecting power.
- Motor Protection – The motor may restart automatically without warning after its thermal protector trips. Allow the motor to cool before handling.
- Speed Control Restriction – Do not use with solid-state speed control devices, as they may create a risk of fire or electric shock.
Warranty Information
ACiQ provides a 24-month limited warranty for registered units and an 18-month limited warranty for unregistered units on its SMWE Shutter Wall Exhaust Fan series, starting from the applicable warranty date. For registered units, the warranty begins on the initial installation date. For unregistered units, the warranty begins on the date of manufacture. Warranty coverage applies to system failures determined to be factory defects by a factory-authorized ACiQ Technical Support agent and approved by ACiQ.
