Our mobile home air conditioning system features an ACIQ air conditioner and mobile home coil. Plus you can add either a 30ft or 50ft copper line set.
ACiQ RDS Kit Features
The ACIQ-MH59AU4VWEC coil is designed to be a perfect fit for many mobile and manufactured home HVAC split system applications. Designed with sweat fit/braze fittings and a sturdy, compact design, this downflow evaporator coil allows for a quick and easy installation process with compatible equipment.
The ACIQ-MH59AU4VWEC evaporator coil is rated to be compatible with condensers with 3.5 to 5 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser.
Note: Do not use heavy duty plastic drain pans on oil furnaces or other applications where outlet temperatures may exceed 290°F +/-5°F. Specify metal drain pans for these applications.
The ACIQ R5A5S60AKAWA-MH is a standard AC-only mobile home condenser. Designed with comfort in mind and an inexpensive but higher-than-standard efficiency option for nearly any application, this condenser is considered a good all-around option for almost any application.
The ACIQ R5A5S60AKAWA-MH mobile home air conditioner condenser has an output of 5 tons, generally enough to cool a large house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us.
The ACIQ R5A5S60AKAWA-MH mobile home air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.8 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13.4 SEER2 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.
ACIQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.
The cabinet of ACIQ units are extremely durable. On the R5A5S60AKAWA-MH, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.
Disclaimer: This mobile home condenser contains R454B refrigerant, which is classified as an A2L refrigerant. To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R454B air handler or evaporator coil equipped with a leakage detection system. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in safety hazards and could void the warranty. Please call us at 1-888-557-9206 if you have any questions.
All ACIQ condensers come pre-charged with enough refrigerant for a 15-foot line set, making installation faster and more convenient. This pre-charged design saves installers time and reduces labor costs by eliminating the need for manual refrigerant charging. It also helps ensure the system starts with the correct amount of refrigerant, minimizing the risk of improper charging that could impact performance and efficiency. If a longer line set is required, your installer will need to add additional refrigerant to maintain optimal operation.
Buyers report reliable cooling performance, with one homeowner noting the system keeps indoor temperature within 1°F of the thermostat setting, reduces electricity use by 20%, and cycles off for about 7 minutes after 15–17 minutes of runtime even during 30 days near 100°F, while another cut their electric bill in half. Feedback highlights quiet operation, fast and often undamaged delivery, DIY installations completed in a weekend saving $4,000 to over $6,000 compared to $8,800 contractor quotes, though some units arrived with dented coils, bent fins, wrong or missing parts, tracking difficulties, or required minor brazing modifications like adding a 3/8-inch liquid line coupling.
