At a rated capacity of 18,000 BTU, the output of the ACiQ-K18Z-HP230 when paired with a matching air handler can easily cover a small to medium room in ideal climates. Thanks to the unit's high-efficiency rotary compressor and an inverter-integrated motor, the ACiQ-K18Z-HP230 has an efficiency of 19 SEER2. With such a high system 19 SEER2 rating, the system can heat and cool almost any space suitable for its output much more efficiently than most standard central split systems.
Please note that this model of equipment does not have quick connect line set connectors and is not a DIY unit. Installation materials such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect are not included, but are available at additional cost in the Accessories section on this page. You will need a professional to add more refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. The automated cleaning function will clean your system, but it is recommended to periodically clean the unit's filters manually.

- Not the gold standard but not bad.Install was easy. No leaks, line set was in great shape. Not as quiet as the more expensive brands but not loud either. 57° supply air. Not the best at removing moisture. The unit did arrive slightly damaged due to inadequate packaging. All that said, it gets the job done.

- ACIQ DuctlessI’m very impressed with these units, I’ve probably installed 20 of these in the last couple years and haven’t had any callbacks. I’ve done Mitsubishi and Daikin for 15 years now and I can’t tell the difference between them. Extremely quiet, great even in cold climates.

- Funky terminal wiringWired a Gobi Condensate pump to the indoor unit. System displayed a fatal E0 error.
Once I noticed terminals 2 & 3 were tied to L1 & L2 and used them to power up the pump, and used terminal 1 for communication, all was well. Thank you, Jack for the excellent tech support!!Posted on
- This review is after 3 months of usageThe lettering for control panel is small , I have to bend down closer to see the setting.
