OVERVIEW

The Amana K Series Model PTAC air conditioner comes equipped with an electric heater, allowing you to stay warm all year round. Its compact size makes it perfect for small living areas, and it features Bluetooth and RF connectivity that can be accessed via the Amana brand mobile app, enabling you to use the Eden Energy Management System to modify settings and timing. This unit provides 11,900 BTUs of heating and cooling, requires 208-230V of power at 20 amps, and needs a NEMA 6-20P receptacle to power the unit and the included 3.5kw electric heater. Amana's PTACs use the environmentally friendly R-410a refrigerant. You can find the Wall Sleeve and exterior grille under the Accessories section. With a 11.0 EER rating, Amana's unit is an excellent choice for new construction or as a replacement for an existing unit.

Does this unit have a wiring diagram for its controls?

This PTAC plugs into an outlet and does not need a wiring diagram as a result. However if you want to use a thermostat with this PTAC, a wiring harness is required in order to connect them to each other. The model number for the harness is PWHK01C. The below diagram came from the harness's manual and outlines how to connect the thermostat to the PTAC: If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.
