HOW TO MEASURE FOR A FIREPLACE DOOR
The first thing to look at is the height of the floor inside of the fireplace relative to the height of the floor outside of the fireplace. Stock sized fireplace doors rest onto the floor just outside of the opening. If the fireplace does not have a a floor outside of the opening called a hearth, the door will have to either be supported with mounting brackets or by some other means on site.WHY BUY A FIREPLACE GLASS DOOR?

Fireplace doors block 80% - 90% of either conditioned air from your home from leaving, or stopping unconditioned air from coming in. Mesh is either standard or optional on all fireplace doors to prevent sparks from coming out of the fireplace when the doors are open. They are also an attractive piece to finish your fireplace.
