The GLXS3BN2410 condenser is a 2 ton AC only unit. In an ideal climate situation, the GLXS3BN2410 can usually cover a small house. For this unit to function, an indoor air handler or coil is required, and this unit is cooling only with no heating capacity on its own.
13.4 SEER2
The Goodman GLXS3BN2410 AC condenser is designed to be 13.4 SEER2. This is the lowest efficiency on the market today, making it an inexpensive option for northern states. Please note that this product is regulated by DOE Efficiency Standards.
Due to efficiency requirements, this unit cannot be installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
Warranty
The GLXS3BN2410 condenser comes with Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.
Durability and Reliability
With an enhanced copper tube and aluminum fin coil, the GLXS3BN2410 is designed to prevent coil degradation. With the baked-on powder-paint finish, the condenser's heavy-gauge galvanized-steel cabinet is approved for up to 500 hours of salt-spray. The factory-installed filter dryer lowers general wear-and-tear on the unit. All of these features provide you with a durable, reliable condenser to be used whenever you need to cool your home.
Installation and Maintenance
The Goodman GLXS3BN2410 AC condenser comes standard with service valves that have sweat connections and easy-access gauge ports, both providing a lower installation difficulty and time to lower installation costs. The outer casing has both a top and a side access to allow for easier maintenance and warranty access when necessary.

The ACIQ-MH24CU3VYEC evaporator coil is rated to be compatible with condensers with up to 2 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser.
Note: Do not use heavy duty plastic drain pans on oil furnaces or other applications where outlet temperatures may exceed 290℉ +/-5℉. Specify metal drain pans for these applications.

Ordered furnace, ac coil, and condenser to match. Upon arrival all three items we're damaged, I refused shipment and took pictures. I contacted HVAC direct immediately and informed them of the situation. They sent out new equipment without any delay and the new shipment arrived quicker than the first. Second time around all HVAC equipment is in great condition. I have not finished installing yet, but I am impressed with the speed in which HVAC direct solved my shipping damage. I will be ordering more in the future because of their willingness to make a bad situation good!

Our electric heater was 36 years old when it went out last month. I found hvacdirect.com online. I called them up and Brandon was very helpful. I was thinking I needed a bigger unit which requires a new 65 amp to be installed. I gave them my zip code and square feet of our home. Brandon let me know that it wasn’t necessary to install a bigger unit. I bought the size he recommended and it works perfectly. I did have to change the thermostat wire form a 2 wire,to a 5 wire. It wasn’t that hard to install at all. I will definitely use this company again and I do recommend buying your hvac needs from them.

The unit cools our house well most of the time. Occasionally it shuts off on sweltering hot days. And sometimes the compressor hard starts several times before kicking on.

Being from Houston were they make them the quality is very good the dependable is very good overall I've had good luck over a 30 year investment in goodman products. Some give them a bad wrap but I would put them up against the big names any day.
