The unit can work with almost any AC-only condenser or heat pump condenser, making it easily installable in many situations while still maintaining efficiency, all at a low cost.

4 to 5 Tons

The Goodman CAUF4961C6 uncased evaporator coil is designed to have a 4 to 5 ton output when installed with a condenser and a blower or furnace. In some system configurations, this coil tonnage will be larger than the condenser’s tonnage to maintain the unit’s efficiency.

Warranty

The CAUF4961C6 coil is covered under Goodman’s standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible R410A condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.

For an easier installation that prevents the need to remove ductwork in many situations, the CAUF4961C6 is designed without an outer casing. The rust-resistant drain pan lowers water retention, and the aluminum-rifled fin coils and tubing increasing temperature transfer reliability.
