LG's KUSXE301A / KNSLE302A heat pump system has an output of 2.5 tons, generally enough to heat and cool a small house in ideal climates. While this system is capable of cooling in outdoor temperatures as high as 118°F, it will only heat down to around 4°F. If you need heat in temperatures lower than this, a supplemental heat kit is strongly recommended in order to provide a source of straight electric heating in the KNSLE302A air handler.
