3.5 Tons
LG's KUSXB421A heat pump condenser has an output of 3.5 tons, generally enough to heat and cool a medium-size house in ideal climates. Please note that this condenser cannot function on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. This unit is capable of cooling in outdoor temperatures as high as 118°F and heating down to -4°F. Supplemental heat kits are available if backup electric heat is necessary for your area.

LG's heat pump condensers are built with a twin rotary variable speed BLDC (Brushless Digitally Controlled) inverter compressor. This innovative technology eliminates the harsh "on-off" cycling seen on standard systems. This condenser includes a 5-year parts warranty and 5-year compressor warranty from the date of purchase. Register within 60 days of residential installation to upgrade to a 10-year parts and 10-year compressor warranty for the original homeowner, starting from the installation date.
