The Mitsubishi MSZ-GS06NA air handler is designed to be able to function as a single zone system or with a multi zone system setup. This unit is manufactured as part of Mitsubishi’s standard air handler series, making it an inexpensive choice for efficient home comfort. With its ability to work with both cooling-only and heat pump condensers, the MSZ-GS06NA can function in almost any basic configuration and application. The unit also has the ability to ramp up and down based on the thermostat’s needs along with an automated vertical air swing adjustment system to direct the airflow where it needs to go, keeping you comfortable year-round with the right condenser.

Can I add this unit to an existing Mitsubishi Model#MXZ-3C24NA2? There are two indoor units

Yes, this air handler model is compatible with the MXZ-3C24NA2. However depending on the BTU rating of your other two air handlers, the unit may or may not be able to efficiently operate with a third air handler. A general rule of thumb is that the BTU ratings of the indoor units add up to be within 30% of the capacity of the outdoor unit. For assistance in this, please give us a call at 1-888-376-5487.

How many watts does it take to start up & run?

Thank you for your question. This indoor air handler has the electrical requirements of 208 / 230V, 1-Phase, 60 Hz. It has a minimum circuit ampacity of 1 A and a blower mower output of 30W. LG units with wired thermostats turn off fan and compressor when set temp is reached. Does this do so also?

Thank you for your question. Unlike traditional heating and cooling systems, mini split systems run continuously when on. However, they consume little electricity and are often times much quieter. This particular indoor air handler features several settings that aid in having an efficient to run system. With the included remote, you can set an on/off timer so that the unit either turns on or off at a set time. You can also control the fan speed. The ECONO Cool operation can also be selected which helps in conserving energy. There are many other settings to choose from as well.
