Can I get the indoor unit in silver like Mitsubishi advertised

The silver indoor units are currently only available for multi-zone systems.

How many square feet does it heat?

There are many factors that play into how many square feet it can heat. For example, your location. Please reference our Sizing Guide that will allow you to know exactly what kind of unit you'll be needing. If you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call! Thanks.

Is there a unit for heat only?

Is there an outdoor piece with the heat pump?

How much power does this use when cooling?

Cleaning filters?

Thank you for your question. The indoor air handler comes with an air cleaning filter. This filter can be cleaned, by hand, as needed.

What additional equipment do I need to install this unit?

Thank you for your question. This system includes the indoor air handler, the outdoor condenser and the remote. Some of the additional accessories you will require for a fully functional system include a line set, control wire, condensate drain line, electrical components, etc. We would recommend the mini split install kit, which can be purchased additionally as an accessory for this system. It is listed next to the main product image on the product page. It can also be found with the other accessories, which are located beneath the "add to cart" button. This single zone ductless mini split installation kit includes the refrigerant line set, the control wire, the condensate drain line, an installation kit for the condenser and flaretite seals. We have several lengths available. If your installation requires the condensate drain line to run against gravity, you will also need a condensate pump (which can also be found with the other accessories). How noisy is the outside unit and how much clearance does it need from nearby bushes and trees?

"Great question. Per the manufacturer: Operation noise tests are performed in an anechoic chamber with an extremely low 10dB(A) of background noise. This is just one of the ways we ensure our customers enjoy extremely quiet air conditioners with a minimum operation noise of 19dB(A) (sound pressure level).
