Santa Fe Ultra V100 Whole House Ventilating Dehumidifier

The Santa Fe Ultra V100 (Model 4047100) is a whole house ventilating dehumidifier that removes up to 100 pints of moisture per day and brings in fresh outdoor air through a dedicated 8-inch duct. That combination handles two jobs with one unit, which is why it shows up so often in new construction and tightly sealed existing homes where humidity climbs and fresh air has nowhere to come from.

Excess indoor moisture is what leads to mold growth, musty basement smells, condensation on windows, and damage to framing, flooring, and stored belongings. Holding relative humidity between 45 and 55 percent protects the house and makes the air feel cooler at the same thermostat setting, so a lot of homeowners see their AC run less once the V100 is dialed in.

The Ultra V100 covers spaces up to 2,300 square feet, runs on standard 115V power, and uses R454B refrigerant. Onboard digital controls and MERV 13 filtration round out a unit built to run quietly in a mechanical room or basement for years at a stretch.

Ultra V100 Features and Specifications

  • 100 Pints Per Day – Whole home moisture removal for spaces up to 2,300 sq. ft.
  • 8-Inch Fresh Air Ventilation Duct – Brings in controlled outdoor air to help meet ASHRAE 62.2 requirements
  • Vertical or Horizontal Discharge – Fits tight mechanical rooms, closets, and open joist bays
  • MERV 13 Filtration – Captures fine airborne particles as air passes through the unit
  • Onboard Digital Controls – Set and monitor humidity right at the unit
  • Low Temperature Operation – Runs from 34°F to 105°F for cool crawl spaces and unconditioned basements
  • R454B Refrigerant – Lower global warming potential than legacy R410A systems
  • R2 Insulated Cabinet – Quieter operation and less exterior condensation

Installing the Santa Fe Ultra V100

The Ultra V100 can be ducted into an existing HVAC system or installed as a standalone dehumidifier serving a basement, crawl space, or the whole house. Configurable vertical and horizontal discharge means you can work around joists and low headroom instead of fighting them.

A 24V low voltage terminal block lets you hardwire the unit to an external control, so it can tie into a central thermostat, a building automation system, or the optional Santa Fe DEH 3000 wall control for remote humidity and ventilation management. Dew point cut-out protection keeps the unit from running when conditions would cause the coil to frost.

  • Ducted or Standalone – Integrates with your HVAC system or runs on its own
  • Optional DEH 3000 Wall Control – Adds remote humidity and ventilation management

Warranty Information

Santa Fe (Therma-Stor) warrants the Ultra V100 Dehumidifier to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The unit typically includes a 5-year limited warranty, depending on proper installation and usage conditions.

Warranty coverage may vary based on installation and registration requirements. Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for complete warranty details.

Built in America for the Long Haul

Santa Fe builds the Ultra V100 in the United States, and the R2 insulated cabinet does double duty: it damps compressor vibration so the unit runs around 47.5 dBA, and it keeps the exterior warm enough that condensation doesn't bead up and drip on whatever sits underneath. Built-in handles on the 91-pound chassis make it manageable when you're walking it down basement stairs.

Drainage is covered two ways. A gravity drain handles primary condensate, and a secondary port accepts a float switch so an overflow shuts the unit down instead of finding your floor. The 10-foot cord plugs into a standard household outlet, no dedicated circuit needed.

Why Choose the Santa Fe Ultra V100?

You need ventilation, not just dehumidification

Tightly built and newly constructed homes don't leak air the way older houses do, which is good for energy bills and bad for stale indoor air. The V100 is one of the few units that solves both at once, so you skip running a separate ventilation system and the ductwork that comes with it.

It fits where the big units don't

At 100 pints per day the V100 handles most whole-home jobs up to 2,300 square feet without jumping to a 155 or 205 pint unit you'd be paying for and finding room for. If your space is under about 1,500 square feet and you don't need fresh air intake, the smaller Ultra models will serve you for less.

Backed for six years

Santa Fe covers the Ultra V100 with a 6-year warranty, five years full replacement plus one year parts, on residential installations. That's roughly double what most whole-house dehumidifiers carry, and it's the practical reason contractors keep specifying this line.
