- Cellar ventilationBought this fan approximately 5 years ago for my in ground storm shelter. It’s approximately 8’x 8’ concrete with a 4” pipe in one corner for ventilation and a 110 electric outlet for power. I added pvc pipe to extend the vent to the floor and added ventilation holes in the steel door. I installed this fan in the vent piping to keep air circulating 24 hours a day. It totally eliminates that musty smell and moisture buildup common with concrete cellars. It’s been running continuously all this time with no issues!
