Zone panels act as a control panel for the dampers installed in ductwork to regulate air flow. The zone panel is connected to the dampers and thermostats in each zone. It receives information from the thermostat about each zone’s desired temperature. Then, it communicates to the damper whether air flow to that zone should be blocked or permitted. Zone panels can be selected based on the number of desired zones. Individual zone panels are available for systems containing up to 6 zones.
