The VENTS-US MS Freshbox 100 Mounting Kit has the parts you need to connect a Freshbox 100 single-room ventilator to the outdoors. The two air ducts run through the exterior wall, one for fresh air coming in and one for stale air going out, and a single outdoor hood covers both. It works with both the Freshbox 100 Wi-Fi HRV and the Freshbox 100 ERV Wi-Fi.

Each plastic duct is 3 15/16" (100 mm) in diameter and 19 11/16" (500 mm) long, so they fit the unit's 4" connections. You cut them to your wall thickness during install. Two 4 3/4" holes through the wall leave room around each duct to fill with mounting foam for a tight, sealed fit. The included cardboard template tapes to the wall and marks the duct holes and the unit's mounting points before you drill.

The white outdoor hood covers both duct openings on the outside of the building to keep out rain and debris. VENTS-US calls for a slight downward slope of at least 1/8" toward the outside so condensation drains out instead of back into the unit. After that, the hood fastens to the exterior wall to finish the job.
