A Goodman combination system is a great choice to keep your home comfortable all season long. With tons of extra features and a great price, a Goodman furnace and air conditioning system is the perfect choice for all of your heating and cooling needs.
The Goodman CHPTA2426B4 evaporator coil is ready for any horizontal installation that you need it for. With a built-in TXV kit for efficiency, the CHPTA2426B4 lives up to Goodman's expectations to provide an enhanced comfort with a superior efficiency, all while staying within your budget. If you want the best possible coil for your home, this is it.
At an output of 2 tons, the Goodman CHPTA2426B4 evaporator coil is ready for almost any horizontal application that matches that output need. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser's tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit's efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace a coil in a single-piece air handler.
The CHPTA2426B4 coil is covered under Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible R410A condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.
The Goodman CHPTA2426B4 horizontal evaporator coil is designed with aluminum tubing and fin coils, lowering wear and tear on the unit. The coil also comes with a TXV kit factory-installed, making it one less thing for your installer to have to install, lowering installation costs. For easier maintenance access, the front of the coil's durable cabinet has a split-seam.
The Goodman CHPTA2426B4 horizontal evaporator coil's built-in TXV kit provides a significant increase in refrigerant control, increasing the overall efficiency of the entire system and providing a more precise temperature output to make you more comfortable in your home. On top of that, the coil has a mold-resistant, thermoplastic drain pan set that lowers potentially dangerous particle buildup. All of these features allow the CHPTA2426B4 to live up to the Goodman quality name.
Inverter Condenser - Inverter technology changes AC power to DC, allowing the compressor inside your condenser to speed up and slow down. This allows the system to self-adjust BTU output based on demand. As the weather changes, so will your system output.
Learning System - This system is packed with sensors and controls air temperature inside and outside, system performance, duct pressure, refrigerant temperature. The first time you start your system it enters a learning mode keeping air moving across the sensors and storing information so future startups and run cycles will be at max efficiency.
Size for cooling - The self-adjusting inverter design allows you to size your system based on demand. The ACiQ Inverter Condensers automatically adjusts to run like a 1 ton to keep you cool and dry.
With an efficiency rating of 16 SEER, the variable output ACIQ-18-AC-UPG will keep you comfortable across a wide range of conditions. Use our handy size calculator Here to determine the demand for your home. For cooling, this system can operate anywhere from 12,000 BTU to 24,000 BTU without short cycling.
Across dozens of reviews, buyers consistently report fast shipping—often within 3 to 5 days, with one furnace arriving in 27 hours—and straightforward installation, including DIY installs completed in about 3 hours, with units such as 80,000 to 120,000 BTU 80% AFUE models heating homes up to 2,100 sq ft and a 3-bedroom 1,320 sq ft house effectively. Feedback highlights quiet operation, quick startups, successful propane and LP kit conversions, and long prior lifespans of 17 to 45 years on older Goodman units, while some mention shipping damage resolved promptly, occasional missing parts like a brass cap, warranty requirements for certified technician diagnosis, isolated noise complaints, and one report of compressor failure.
