2 Tons
At an output of 2 tons, the Goodman CHPTA2426B4 evaporator coil is ready for almost any horizontal application that matches that output need. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser's tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit's efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace a coil in a single-piece air handler.
Warranty
The CHPTA2426B4 coil is covered under Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible R410A condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.
Installation and Durability
The Goodman CHPTA2426B4 horizontal evaporator coil is designed with aluminum tubing and fin coils, lowering wear and tear on the unit. The coil also comes with a TXV kit factory-installed, making it one less thing for your installer to have to install, lowering installation costs. For easier maintenance access, the front of the coil's durable cabinet has a split-seam.
Enhanced Comfort and Efficiency
The Goodman CHPTA2426B4 horizontal evaporator coil's built-in TXV kit provides a significant increase in refrigerant control, increasing the overall efficiency of the entire system and providing a more precise temperature output to make you more comfortable in your home. On top of that, the coil has a mold-resistant, thermoplastic drain pan set that lowers potentially dangerous particle buildup. All of these features allow the CHPTA2426B4 to live up to the Goodman quality name.

- Good heaterInstalled this bad boy on my own. It was my first time. I did have help from my brother in law. It was also his first furnace install. Things went pretty smooth I guess. It took us a total of about 7 hours over 2 days to remove the old one and install this one. Had to remake my fresh air duct work. But it works great. Way better than my old one!
