OVERVIEW
The Santa Fe Ultra70 was the first compact whole house ventilating dehumidifier built for tight, low-clearance installs. It removes up to 70 pints of moisture per day and covers homes up to 1,800 square feet, which makes it a strong match for smaller houses, condos, and apartments.
Ducted into your HVAC system, the Ultra70 controls humidity everywhere at once instead of one room at a time. That means no musty basement smell, no clammy upstairs bedrooms, and no conditions that let mold and wood rot get started.
The cabinet measures 12" W x 12" H x 28" L and converts between horizontal and vertical airflow discharge, so it works in mechanical rooms, closets, attics, basements, and crawl spaces alike. Now running R454B refrigerant, it exceeds Department of Energy efficiency standards and is built at Santa Fe's headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.

Customized Installation and Operation
The Ultra70 gives you three ways to install it. Tie it into your existing HVAC system with a dedicated 8" return and a supply connection with backdraft damper. Run it on its own separate ductwork. Or set it freestanding in a basement or crawl space when ducting isn't practical.
Both the return air inlet and supply air outlet use 8" duct collars. The back panel comes configured for horizontal flow through and rotates for vertical flow through with a T20 torx bit, which is what lets the same unit work in an attic, a closet, or under a floor.
Fresh air ventilation is optional and simple to add. A "T" into the inlet duct brings outdoor air into the system to dilute pollutants and maintain normal oxygen levels indoors, and the volume is adjustable with a range of dampers and controls.

The ACIQ R5H5S18AKAAA heat pump condenser has an output of 1.5 tons, generally enough to heat and cool up to a small house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. This unit will also only heat down to around 35°F, and if you need heat any lower than this, a backup heat strip will be needed to act as straight electric heating in a compatible air handler.

The ACIQ R5H5S18AKAAA air conditioner condenser is rated at 14.3 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13.4 SEER2 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit. In general, heat pumps will heat more efficiently than straight electric furnaces.

The ACiQ N80MSN0451412A has an input of 44,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 80%, this means that the furnace has an output of 35,200 BTU. The 80% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 80% of it is used to heat your home while the remaining 20% is lost out the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All 80% furnaces require metal flue venting, and if you need it to be plastic/PVC venting a furnace with an efficiency of 90% or above is required. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Low NOx or Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.
Warranty
ACiQ offers 10 year parts and 20 year heat exchanger limited warranties. Please note that in order for the heat exchanger and parts warranties to be upheld, the unit must be registered through the manufacturer within 90 days of installation. I had delivered an ACiQ 80% 110,000 BTU furnace. It is working great. I replaced a high efficiency 90% Bryant that had a known secondary heat exchanger issue. I watched The DIY HVAC Guy on youtube that recommended that all high efficiency units are crap and to go back to 80%. He couldn't be more right. The unit is running fine with no problems. The install was easy. I had to redo the ducting as per his instructions. The price i paid $1,300 compared to what Bryant installers wanted $13,000 was a no brainer. If you have mechanical hands and like stop watch How To youtube videos, get this one! You wont be disappointed. The heat is excellent a d the fan is 3 times more powerful than I used to have. Excellent unit thay will last 30+ years.

At present we’re not using the heat but unit is performing well with external AC unit.
Returned thermostat due not being able to be incorporated into existing system. Return was painless and prompt reimbursement.

We have installed about 6 of these, replacing williams wall furnaces. They work great. after 2 years, be sure to clean ignition sensor. That's the only thing we have done, other than clean filters.

This furnace was almost the same size as my 32 year old Carrier I replaced (6" shorter). CS was able to change order and I received the right size. Fast shipping and shipping damage. The new ACiQ furnace is quieter than the old one. Temp-Rise test was in range with factory settings. Saved a bundle and very happy with this product.
