The ACIQ R5A4S30AKANA air conditioner condenser has an output of 2.5 tons, generally enough to cool a small to medium-sized house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Warranty
ACIQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.

With an efficiency of 97%, this means that the furnace has an output of 78,400 BTU, meaning that it is generally suitable for average-sized houses in ideal climates. The 97% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 97% of it is used to heat your home while the remaining 3% is lost out the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All 90% and above furnaces require plastic/PVC flue venting, and if you need it to be metal flue venting to match your current setup, you would need to get an 80% efficient furnace. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost.

Customized Installation and Operation
The Ultra70 gives you three ways to install it. Tie it into your existing HVAC system with a dedicated 8" return and a supply connection with backdraft damper. Run it on its own separate ductwork. Or set it freestanding in a basement or crawl space when ducting isn't practical.
Both the return air inlet and supply air outlet use 8" duct collars. The back panel comes configured for horizontal flow through and rotates for vertical flow through with a T20 torx bit, which is what lets the same unit work in an attic, a closet, or under a floor.
Fresh air ventilation is optional and simple to add. A "T" into the inlet duct brings outdoor air into the system to dilute pollutants and maintain normal oxygen levels indoors, and the volume is adjustable with a range of dampers and controls.

I just got this all hooked up and running last week, even though I bought it last year. So far, so good, my house is cool and comfortable. A note on shipping: the cover plate over the electrical connections got beat up by something en route. I took it off when it was delivered, and everything underneath was fine, so I accepted delivery.
