At an output of 3 tons, the ACiQ AQ-CHPTA3630C3 evaporator coil is ready for almost any horizontal application that matches that output need. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser's tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit's efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace a coil in a single-piece air handler.

Customized Installation and Operation
The Ultra70 gives you three ways to install it. Tie it into your existing HVAC system with a dedicated 8" return and a supply connection with backdraft damper. Run it on its own separate ductwork. Or set it freestanding in a basement or crawl space when ducting isn't practical.
Both the return air inlet and supply air outlet use 8" duct collars. The back panel comes configured for horizontal flow through and rotates for vertical flow through with a T20 torx bit, which is what lets the same unit work in an attic, a closet, or under a floor.
Fresh air ventilation is optional and simple to add. A "T" into the inlet duct brings outdoor air into the system to dilute pollutants and maintain normal oxygen levels indoors, and the volume is adjustable with a range of dampers and controls.

Ordered furnace, ac coil, and condenser to match. Upon arrival all three items we're damaged, I refused shipment and took pictures. I contacted HVAC direct immediately and informed them of the situation. They sent out new equipment without any delay and the new shipment arrived quicker than the first. Second time around all HVAC equipment is in great condition. I have not finished installing yet, but I am impressed with the speed in which HVAC direct solved my shipping damage. Being from Houston were they make them the quality is very good the dependable is very good overall I've had good luck over a 30 year investment in goodman products. Some give them a bad wrap but I would put them up against the big names any day.
