Read our privacy policyDesigned to be a high-efficiency furnace, the ACiQ N96MSN0401712A is a money saving unit to provide heating throughout even the coldest months of the year. With its multi-positional design, this unit is a good all-around choice for nearly any application.
The ACiQ N96MSN0401712A has an input of 40,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 32,000 BTU. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while only 4% is lost out of the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All furnaces at this efficiency (90% and above) requires plastic/PVC flue venting, and if metal flue venting is required for your installation, an 80% efficient furnace would be needed instead. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Low NOx or Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.
ACiQ offers standard 10 year parts warranty and lifetime (20 year) heat exchanger limited warranty. Please note that in order for these warranties to be upheld, installation following your state and local codes are required, along with timely registration through the manufacturer.
With its ability to be installed in any configuration-upflow, downflow, or horizontal-the ACiQ N96MSN0401712A is very versatile in application potential. The unit has a durable outer casing that can withstand wear-and-tear through its entire lifetime, providing the peace of mind that your home will stay comfortable year-round. Please note that this furnace is not intended for use in a mobile home on its own.
Owners report effective heating: one furnace has heated a 1,700-square-foot Illinois home for about five years, while a 60,000-BTU unit heats a 1,500-square-foot house; some say their replacements are quieter than older furnaces and have lowered gas bills. Installation was often straightforward, but reviews also describe a leaking installation-kit gas line, a confusing propane conversion step, an unneeded extra filter housing, shipping damage, and delivery delays.
