80,000 BTU, 96% AFUE
The ACiQ N96MSN0801716A has an input of 80,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 76,800 BTU. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while only 4% is lost out of the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All furnaces at this efficiency (90% and above) requires plastic/PVC flue venting, and if metal flue venting is required for your installation, an 80% efficient furnace would be needed instead. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.
Warranty
ACiQ offers 10 year parts warranty and lifetime (20 year) heat exchanger limited warranty. Please note that in order for these warranties to be upheld, installation following your state and local codes are required, along with timely registration through the manufacturer.

- Decent unitBeen great so far, fairly simple install. Really happy with it so far. Only issues I had was that it came with the bear air filter housing and they didn't tell me that when I was chatting with them about my order. I ordered the housing separately and ended up with two. Also the flexible gas line I ordered in the install kit leaked badly, you could see a ridge down the flare. Not a big deal though all in all it was good. Got it in about a week, and installed it over the weekend. Efficiency seems great, got this unit to replace my 30 year old broken down furnace.

- Works greatPurchased a scratch and dent unit, it was dented as advertised when it arrived. Packaging for shipment to me was very well done. Preexisting damage was nothing that affected installation or operation. Has been working for a month now with no issues. Very satisfied.

- Easy to DIY install and quiet furnaceI got the ACiQ natural gas upflow forced air 80,000 BTU model to replace a failed 20 year old Carrier in my home. I ordered Thursday late afternoon and got it on Monday morning in NJ. I paid for liftgate delivery; the driver brought the unit to my front door. The packaging was fantastic; there were no dents, scratches and damage. Accessories needed to install were all there inside the unit by the blower. The unit is much quieter and simpler design than the one it replaced. It should be easier to maintain. It has been working flawlessly for over a week now. Very happy with my purchase!

- Looks GoodThe furnace came promptly and it was packaged well so there was no damage. Looking it over, it seems to be good. I won't know how well it works as it is scheduled to be installed for the next heating season. I would buy here again.
