2.5 Tons
The ACIQ R5A4S30AKANA air conditioner condenser has an output of 2.5 tons, generally enough to cool a small to medium-sized house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us.

The ACIQ R5A4S30AKANA air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.4 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13 SEER1 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.

Warranty
ACIQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.

The cabinet of ACIQ units are extremely durable. On the R5A4S30AKANA, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.

The ACIQ-MH36BU3VWEC evaporator coil is rated to be compatible with condensers with up to 3 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser.
Note: Do not use heavy duty plastic drain pans on oil furnaces or other applications where outlet temperatures may exceed 290℉ +/-5℉. Specify metal drain pans for these applications.

I had this installed last Friday. It is working like a champ. The air coming out of it is so cold & running my condenser unit like it is supposed to run. have only used the heat portion once when it was first stared & it warmed my trailer very quickly after not having any heat for 2 weeks. Very good unit.

I just got this all hooked up and running last week, even though I bought it last year. So far, so good, my house is cool and comfortable. A note on shipping: the cover plate over the electrical connections got beat up by something en route. I took it off when it was delivered, and everything underneath was fine, so I accepted delivery.
