With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser.

In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Our electric heater was 36 years old when it went out last month. I found hvacdirect.com online. I called them up and Brandon was very helpful. I was thinking I needed a bigger unit which requires a new 65 amp to be installed. I gave them my zip code and square feet of our home. Brandon let me know that it wasn’t necessary to install a bigger unit. I bought the size he recommended and it works perfectly. I did have to change the thermostat wire form a 2 wire,to a 5 wire. It wasn’t that hard to install at all. I will definitely use this company again and I do recommend buying your hvac needs from them.

I just got this all hooked up and running last week, even though I bought it last year. So far, so good, my house is cool and comfortable. A note on shipping: the cover plate over the electrical connections got beat up by something en route. I took it off when it was delivered, and everything underneath was fine, so I accepted delivery.
