The Goodman® GSX14 14 SEER Central Air Conditioner uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A and features operating sound levels that are among the best in the heating and air conditioning industry. R-410A is chlorine-free to help prevent damage to the ozone layer. The GSX14 central air conditioner features a high-efficiency Copeland® scroll compressor and is designed for the consumer who desires superior comfort, quiet operation, and environmentally friendly cooling performance.
The Goodman ASPT Multi-Position Air Handler with EEM (Energy-Saving) Motor is suitable for use with R-410A refrigerant and may be installed in a variety of locations. This air handler features a SmartFrameâ„¢ sub-structure that adds lateral stability, mounting locations for internal components, and additional insulation retention.
Please note: This is a brand new unit, never shipped, but the box has some cosmetic issues. Unit will still receive the full manufacturer warranty.

The AVPTC33C14 air handler is rated for an output of 2 tons. In many cases, this tonnage will be larger than the condenser it is paired with, which increases the overall efficiency of the unit. Please note that this air handler needs a condenser to heat or cool. For straight heating or when backup heat is necessary in a heat pump application, the air handler is able to accommodate heat strips, available at an additional cost to be field-installed.
Goodman offers a 10 year parts warranty with online registration and when the unit is matched with a covered condenser. Please note that installation that follows your state and local codes is required, normally requiring an EPA-certified installer for most of the work.
The Goodman AVPTC33C14 comes with a factory-installed TXV kit, preventing the need to install one to increase the unit's efficiency. The unit is also able to be installed in any orientation - upflow, downflow, or horizontal - which allows it to be extremely versatile in application. For easy maintenance, there are two access panels on the unit, and there is a CFM indicator and a front-panel sight glass. There is also a built-in control board function that helps you diagnose the unit should the need arise.
