Description

VENTS-US PSS 102 Wall Vent with Solar Panel is an intake ventilation unit for constant ventilation and designed for supplying fresh air to residential or nonresidential premises. Technically advanced, cost effective, and high efficiency ventilation kits are economical ventilation solution for wide range of applications where centralized ventilation is not applied. Through the wall, ventilation kits are installed in the outer wall of various premises such as apartments, cottages, or office buildings. Designed for continuous or intermittent operation. Wall vent can fill the room with fresh air without the need of opening a window while preventing the entry of dust and fumes from outside. Eliminates heat loss. The unique design of the internal grille and air flow regulator prevent backdraft. The mixing of cold and warm air prevents humidity in premises. Wall vent consist of a telescopic pipe and a ventilation grille. G3 cleaning level filter ensures filtration of exhaust and incoming air keeping the air always fresh. The airflow and its intensity are adjustable with the airflow regulator.

Hotel hallway smells of cigarette smoke. I need a solution so non smokers won’t be bothered with secondhand smoke in hallway.

The PSS102 is not the best product for this. Exhaust will remove the air but it will do nothing for the odors. Once the fan itself is coated with secondhand smoke, the fan will start to smell as well, compounding the problem. As of now, we don't carry the product you're looking for, but the best one out there is called a Smoke Eater. See this link for more information. Is solar panel detachable so it can be positioned for best sun exposure?

The solar panel can be angled upwards during installation. Steps 13-15 in the Installation Guide (found in Resources section of PSS102's Product Specifications) show how to angle it. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

How much run time does it offer when fully charged?

The electrical parameters of this solar powered wall vent change depending on the sun's intensity. When the sun is most intense, the vent has a voltage of 18 and a power consumption of 26.5 W. In comparison, when the sun is least intense it has a voltage of 9 and a power consumption of 7.6 W. During the dark hours, the vent acts as a as an element of passive ventilation.

Can the interior cover be painted on this product?

Can you switch this fan from intake to exhaust?

Yes, this unit can switch from intake and exhaust. It consists of two ventilation grills (inside and external) and a telescopic air duct. The inner grill is produced from high-quality ABS plastic and is equipped with a dust filter. Inside the grille, a small motor is installed for intake or exhaust of air.
