What extras are needed to use this fan for a stove hood?

To use this fan for a stove hood, you would need just a switch or speed controller. A potentiometer would work well for this, but we currently do not carry them (as of 2/21/22). A control like this one from Lowe's (or something similar) would work fine. The wiring posts are not something you need to buy separately. They're hard to see in the diagrams, but the below image shows where they are. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

Variable speed with controller? Wiring?

This unit is single speed and is hard wired (no plug). Please refer to the User Manual for more information on how to install. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

Can this exhaust fan be used to remove the moisture from the air while taking a shower?
