97% Efficiency Rating

This furnace is 97% efficient, which is one of the highest available efficiencies in the market. This means that 97% of the gas going into the furnace is used to heat your home and the remaining 3% is lost out of the flue venting. Please note that all 90% or higher furnaces must be vented using plastic/PVC venting, while any furnace with an efficiency of 80% must be vented using metal flue venting.

Natural Gas or LP Furnace

From the factory, the G97VTN0601716A runs on natural gas. However, all ACiQ gas furnaces can be converted to propane using the furnace's corresponding LP conversion kit, an optional accessory at an additional cost that consists of a replacement set of orifices and springs.
