Like a high wall mount, these units take in return air at the top edge and deliver it at the bottom. This is ideal for heating. As far as mini splits go I love the ACiQ mini splits the option for indoor units is great. we have installed several of the slim cassettes they are great for in homes fitting in between 16" joists. the technology on these units is great with the features they offer, heating, cooling, humidify, dehumidify and the filter lowers to be cleaned instead of having to get on a ladder. comes with a remote and Wi-Fi to control on your mobile device. the units are very quiet as well are customers love them. the units are a very good price as well the only other company i know who makes these are Mitsubishi with their units costing a considerable amount more.

I got 2 wall units up and running last week and so far so good. They are keeping the main level at the desired temp in 20 degree outdoor weather. This week is supposed to get much colder so we'll see. I still have 2 more ceiling cassettes to put on this condenser, but they are going to be a lot more work.
