Designed to be a high-efficiency furnace, the ACiQ N96MSN0401712A is a money saving unit to provide heating throughout even the coldest months of the year. With its multi-positional design, this unit is a good all-around choice for nearly any application.
The ACiQ N96MSN0401712A has an input of 40,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 32,000 BTU. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while only 4% is lost out of the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All furnaces at this efficiency (90% and above) requires plastic/PVC flue venting, and if metal flue venting is required for your installation, an 80% efficient furnace would be needed instead. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Low NOx or Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.
ACiQ offers standard 10 year parts warranty and lifetime (20 year) heat exchanger limited warranty. Please note that in order for these warranties to be upheld, installation following your state and local codes are required, along with timely registration through the manufacturer.
With its ability to be installed in any configuration-upflow, downflow, or horizontal-the ACiQ N96MSN0401712A is very versatile in application potential. The unit has a durable outer casing that can withstand wear-and-tear through its entire lifetime, providing the peace of mind that your home will stay comfortable year-round. Please note that this furnace is not intended for use in a mobile home on its own.
ACIQ takes pride in its ability to provide a high-quality system, including all system components. Leaving no exception, the EAM5X25M17A horizontal coil is a superior option for almost any application while maintaining the entire unit's efficiency with a factory-integrated TXV kit for enhanced energy optimization. With its unique performance features along with its ability to be applied in any orientation, this coil is a superior option for your home's comfort.
The ACIQ EAM5X25M17A is rated for up to 2 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser. Please note that this item cannot operate independently from a compatible condenser and blower or furnace, each available at an additional cost.
ACIQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on their coils when they are installed following your state and local codes, as well as the system is paired with a certified system matchup. Please note that in order to obtain the entire length of this warranty, the entire unit must be registered through the manufacturer.
Across multiple installations, owners report quieter operation, faster heat-up, and lower gas bills compared to 17–30 year old furnaces, with one unit heating a 1,700 sq ft bi-level home in cold Illinois and another 60,000 BTU model easily heating 1,500 sq ft. Delivery often occurred within 3–4 days and many describe straightforward DIY installs, though some noted shipping delays of up to three weeks, a leaking flexible gas line, a stripped fan screw, minor shipping damage, or confusion during propane conversion.
