96% AFUE, 100,000 BTU
The LNAVE100C1 has a 96% AFUE efficiency rating. This means that it converts nearly all the fuel it uses into heat, leaving the remaining 4% vented out as a combustible byproduct. With this furnace's 100,000 BTU input, this means that 96% of that input (96,000 BTU) goes to heating your home. Please note that all 96% furnaces are required to use plastic or PVC flue venting. Do not use metal flues with this or any other 90% or higher furnace.
A furnace this size is ideal for heating medium to large homes in ideal climate conditions. This furnace is made to be paired with LG's heat pump condensers as part of a dual fuel system with two sources of heat. An internally-embedded communication kit is built into the heat pump that sends signals between it and the furnace, which will determine whether the heat pump or the furnace is the more efficient of the two heating options. This will lead to lower gas and power bills overall.
Two Stage Multi-Speed Furnace
With a two stage burner, the LNAVE100C1 provides two heating outputs: 60% output and 100% output. Combined with its efficient multi-speed ECM blower motor, this furnace will alternate between the two outputs to create even temperature while reducing cycling and utilizing less energy overall. The blower will additionally make the entire operation more quiet overall.

LG's furnaces are built with corrosion-resistant stainless steel tubular heat exchangers that ensure longevity and efficient heat transfer. Their insulated cabinets are built with durable, heavy-gauge steel that reduces noise and heat loss, all while providing easy-access panels to their internal components as well as factory TXV connections for quicker installations. A self-diagnostic control board is built into each furnace that monitors how it performs. If any issues are detected, LED codes will be displayed as a quick reference for faster maintenance to the unit overall.

This furnace includes a lifetime heat exchanger warranty and a 5 year parts warranty from the date of purchase. Register within 60 days of residential installation to upgrade the parts warranty terms to 10 years for the original homeowner, starting from the installation date.

4 Tons
LG's KUSXE481A heat pump condenser has an output of 4 tons, generally enough to heat and cool a medium to large house in ideal climates. Please note that this condenser cannot function on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. While this unit is capable of cooling in outdoor temperatures as high as 118°F, it will only heat down to around 4°F. If you need heat in temperatures lower than this, a supplemental heat kit is strongly recommended in order to provide a source of straight electric heating in a compatible air handler.

The LG LKMMA48C1 provides an output of 4 tons when paired with a compatible LG condenser. In some cases, the coil will be smaller in size compared to its compatible LG condenser. While in most setups this would not be permissible, each of these pairings are AHRI-rated and they can be safely used in your home. Please note that this item cannot operate independently from a compatible condenser and furnace, each available at an additional cost.
Warranty
LG offers a 5-year limited parts warranty standard, extendable to 10 years on parts with timely online registration by an authorized installer. Labor coverage applies for 2 years; extended terms require certified system matchup and code-compliant installation.
