    Daikin single zone mini split systems are easy to install, as they don't require or connect to ductwork. Daikin mini splits work by transferring heat between the indoor and outdoor units using refrigerant. In cooling mode, the system absorbs heat from inside the home and releases it outside. In heating mode, it absorbs heat from outside and brings it indoors, even in cold weather conditions.

    Thanks to powerful compressors that have variable speed motors and smart operating systems, Daikin heat pumps are effective at lower temperatures than most other brands. They operate effectively - no chilly drafts - and efficiently - using less energy than other brands.

    If you live in the norther tier of the United States, you can save money on a 14 SEER mini split system. This represents the lowest initial cost on these systems. however, if you live in the south or west, you must have a system with a SEER rating of 16 or higher.

    *SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating, a measurement of how much energy is consumed during cooling season.

    The air handler in a mini split system is actually in the room and Daikin has created a line of air handlers that is eay on the eyes and easy on the ears with superb sound-dampening construction. Air delivery can be conveyed through floor units, wall mounted units, ceiling cassettes, and concealed duct installations.

    Single Zones can be anything from a garage to a bedroom, finished basement or living room where ductwork is not needed. With a variety of air handler options like: wall mounted, ceiling cassette, concealed ducts, and floor mounts there is a mini split for everyone.
